Two fee categories
Georgia law caps the statutory notarial act fee at $2.00 per notarial act. Every other charge — mobile convenience, travel, after-hours premiums, witness coordination, or facility access — is a separately quoted service fee disclosed in writing before your appointment.
Statutory notarial act fee
- Notarial act (acknowledgment or jurat): $2.00 per notarial act
- Additional clerk certificate of notary commission (if requested): $2.00
Multiple signatures on related documents may require multiple notarial acts. We count acts according to the certificates your documents and counsel require.
Mobile & travel fees
Travel fees depend on distance from our Alpharetta base and appointment complexity. Published starting ranges appear on our pricing page. Emergency coverage after 9:00 PM applies a documented percentage or minimum surcharge on the combined base + travel subtotal.
Written confirmation
Before we notarize, you receive a fee summary covering statutory acts and mobile charges. Booking form acknowledgments (when enabled) require you to confirm you understand mobile/travel fees are separate from the $2.00 statutory fee.
Pass-through costs
Government filing fees, GSCCCA apostille charges, parking at secured facilities, and courier costs are quoted separately when applicable. They are not included in the base mobile notary fee unless explicitly stated in writing.
