Overview

PeNotary LLC ("PeNotary," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through penotary.com, booking forms, email, and phone contact — and how we use it to schedule and perform Georgia mobile notary services.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide (name, phone, email, appointment address)
  • Appointment preferences (service type, date, special access notes)
  • Communications you send us (messages, voicemails, email threads)
  • Basic website analytics if enabled at launch (pages visited, device type)

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers through public forms. Signers present government-issued photo ID in person at appointments — we record only what Georgia notary law and our journal require.

How we use information

We use your information to confirm appointments, communicate ETAs, perform notarial acts, respond to inquiries, improve our website, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information to third-party marketers.

Sharing

We share information only when necessary: email delivery providers (e.g., Resend), hosting/analytics vendors under contract, or when required by law. Attorney clients who direct an appointment may receive confirmation details relevant to their matter.

Retention & security

We retain booking records and notary journal entries as long as Georgia law and our insurer require. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards protect data in transit and at rest — no method is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold by contacting us. You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails at any time.
